Re: Travel Grant Application for the 2024 AISES National Conference

United Native Americans of Nokia (LUNA) is a Native American organization within Nokia, comprised of current and former employees. We are committed to the career advancement, cultural development, and education of all employees and in supporting Native American communities and students.

This year, LUNA is pleased to offer a limited number of travel grants to students that meet the criteria below. One of these grants is named for Larry and Gwen Klausner, who were founding members of LUNA. Selected students will be awarded up to $500 to be used for travel, living and registration expenses to attend the 2024 AISES National Conference October 3-5, 2024, in San Antonio, TX.

Please distribute information to students with the following qualifications:

  1. Native American descent (Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student, only)
  2. An active member of an AISES Chapter in good standing
  3. Planning to attend this year’s AISES National Conference
  4. GPA 3.0 or higher (based on 4.0 scale)
  5. Graduating with a degree in:
    Accounting, Business Management, Communications Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or other STEM.

Based on the conference dates this year, please have qualified students complete the application and return it along with their current resume and transcript (official or unofficial) to the email address indicated on the application no later than July 31, 2024. (US Mail postmarked no later than July 25, 2024.) Emails are preferred.
